More Tournaments, More Prizes, More Emotes and Some Love.

I've been waiting all week to publish this because I'm unbelievably excited to reveal all of the new stuff The Mythic Society has in store for you. Let's get to it.

I'll start with the sole bad news, just so it's out of the way. 

No more scheduled weekly streams 

Specifically The Mythic Show and our weekly streams with Deezy and GoblinCredible. We are eternally grateful to those two guys as well as everyone who participated in The Mythic Show, but unfortunately we had to put those aside in order to focus more on other aspects such as what's coming below. Don't worry though, tournament coverage for Set Roulette and the Arena Community Cup is not going anywhere!

GoblinCredible will still be working with us as a tournament admin and we are sponsoring his stream that you can find at twitch.tv/goblincredible23! We are also sponsoring Deezy's channel that you can find at twitch.tv/deezy_mtg (HIGHLY recommend).

MORE tournaments and MORE prizes!

Tuning our tournament structures over the past year has been by far my favorite thing to do. I'm a Magic player that has always been driven primarily by tournaments more than anything else, so being able to craft the best possible structures with our available resources is pretty close to a dream come true. .

Our community is growing every day, so being able to cater to everyone has been my number one priority. One area we were lacking, is catering to the grinders of this world, the Christian Calcano, the Sandydog, the 2015 Pascal Maynard and everyone else trying to get that bread.

Introducing: Prize Multipliers!

Effective today, each of our Tier 2 Twitch subscribers will now receive x2 the prizes in ALL of our tournaments. But wait, it gets better. Each of our Tier 3 subscribers will get x3 prizes!!! 

Yes, that means you can now win up to 600$ in the Set Roulette or Arena Community Cup, or up to 100$ almost every day of the week in our newly packed scheduled (available below). 

You can find how to upgrade your Twitch subscriptions here. Obviously, you must be Tier 2 or Tier 3 BEFORE each tournament begins.

Introducing: Paper Commander Events!

Paper Commander ONLINE. That's right. Using some old fashioned cardboard, a webcam and this wonderful app called Spelltable, we are now able to bring you a weekly Commander event with prizes! This is an experiment that we will hopefully keep around, but that's why we need your feedback! Come play this next Tuesday and invite your friends!

These events will not use MTGMelee, so you'll need to follow our instructions in our Discord server.

Updated Weekly Schedule

So here's what our weekly schedule looks like now. It's PACKED. On top of that there's of course the monthly Set Roulette and the monthly Arena Community Cup. That's a minimum of 22 tournaments per month, for a single Twitch subscription of 4.99$ (or free with Prime!), just sayin'.

All of this growth wouldn't have been possible without your amazing support. The community that has been built throughout the months has been easily the most respectful I've ever witnessed.

I was ready to have to deal with non-sense, because that just always happens, but to my surprise, it basically never happened. Everyone interacting in our Discord server is just a reasonable being who respects the rules, the people and honestly make my job easier because everyone helps each other out when an issue arises.

Again, thank you very much for being a part of this, you folks are unbelievably awesome, I'm honored to lead The Mythic Society.
